Clémentine Beauvais
Clémentine Beauvais is an author and translator, mostly of children’s books, with a few forays into adult ones. Among her children’s novels you can find Les petites reines, Songe à la douceur, Brexit Romance and Age tendre, all published by Sarbacane. She is also the author of many picture books for younger children, including Va jouer avec le petit garçon, illustrated by Maisie Shearring, Boucles de pierre, illustrated by Max Ducos, and La louve, illustrated by Antoine Déprez. She leads numerous creative writing and literary translation workshops, and is herself a translator of books by Sarah Crossan, Meg Rosoff, Elizabeth Acevedo, and J.K. Rowling’s Ickabog, among others. She is currently a teacher-researcher in Educational Sciences at the University of York (UK).
