Matthew Crampton

Matthew Crampton is a storyteller, writer and folk singer. His recent show The Transports won Five Stars from The Guardian, toured widely and was featured as an evening concert on BBC Radio 3. His show Human Cargo – based on his book of the same name – has also toured nationally. Based in London, Matthew also sings in folk clubs, performs in music halls, and writes books on subjects as diverse as human migration, Hebridean fishing and making sweets.
